Memorial Services will be held Friday, June 18, 2010 at 3 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Betty Widmer, 67, of Picayune, who passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010 in Picayune.

Services are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Poplarville, and a 1961 graduate of Picayune High School, she was a Manager of Clear View Mall and a caretaker of Mrs. Dare Richards of New Orleans, La.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, William C. and Birdie Mae Smith; three brothers, J.D. Smith, Jerry W. Smith and William Smith; and two sisters, Alice Jane Smith and Diane Varnado.

Survivors include: Theresa M. Smith and Shane Anderson; three brothers, Mike C. Smith of Carriere, Johnny R. Smith of Leetown, Miss., and Bill H. Smith of Poplarville; one sister, Carolyn Sue Lott of Carriere; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 18, 2010 from 2-3 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.
