Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 9, 2010, at White Funeral Home in Poplarville for Mrs. Johnnie Alene Bolt, 71, of Poplarville, who passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at her residence. Brother Tomny Jones will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Poplarville.

A native of Memphis, Tenn., she was born September 1, 1937 to Woodrow Wilson and Veda Laverne Northcutt-Mallett. She was a homemaker, a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 100 in Poplarville, and a Baptist. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Bruce Bolt.

Survivors include one son, Bruce Lynn Bolt and his wife Emma of Fort Smith, Ark., and one daughter, Theresa Gail Artigue and her husband Gary of Lacombe, La.; two brothers, Robert Joseph Mallett of Royce City, Texas, and Gary Lynn Mallett of Forney, Texas; three sisters, Glenda Fay Burnett of Mesquite, Texas, Ruby Neal Collingsworth of Royce City, and Jennifer Dawn Baker of Mesquite; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 9, 2010 from 12 p.m. until the time of services at White Funeral Home in Poplarville.
