Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 2 p.m. in White Funeral Home of Poplarville for Mr. Michael Dennis Herndon, 37, of Poplarville, who passed away Saturday, December 26, 2009 in Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Miss. Brother Kevin Wilcox, Brother Jim Slowey and Brother Kurt Jarrell will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Poplarville.

He was born August 26, 1972 in Picayune to Buster and Myrna Ryals-Herndon. He was a Carpenter and a member of White Sands Baptist Church in Poplarville.

Survivors include: his son, Evan Herndon; two daughters, Darian Herndon and Erin Herndon, all of Covington, La.; his parents, Buster and Myrna Herndon of Poplarville; two brothers, Josh Herndon of Poplarville and Brandon Herndon of New Orleans, La.; and his maternal grandmother, Ruby Ryals of Picayune.

Pallbearers will be Paul Miller, Brian Ashley, Jody Jones, Larry Harges, Don Herndon, and Evan Herndon.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at White Funeral Home in Poplarville.
