Hazel Vaughan Campbell

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 11 a.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Hazel Vaughan Campbell, 84, of McNeill, who passed away Sunday, November 29, 2009 in New Orleans, La.
Burial will be in the Mitchell Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.
Father Michael Snyder will officiate at the service.
A native of Port Arthur, Texas, she was a retired Sales Clerk and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Hazard Francis Vaughan and Bertha Fournet Lagarde; her husband, Willie R. (Bill) Campbell; one stepson, Malcolm (Mack) Campbell; two sisters, Margaret Murphy and Elaine Culotta and one son-in-law, Delmar Hayes.
Survivors include: four daughters, Zadie Hayes of Metairie, La., Louise (John) Rodriguez of Sugar Land, Texas, Linda Bourgeois of McNeill, and Madeline Campbell of McNeill; one daughter-in-law, Mary Campbell of Bogalusa, La.; one sister, Mary Ann Vaughan of Metairie; one brother, Jack Vaughan of Phoenix, Ariz.; six grandchildren: Stefanie (Doug) Ritchie, Robert (Lisa) Hayes, Scott Campbell, Jason (Stephanie) Bourgeois, Karen (Richard) Kostal and Craig (Katie) Rodriguez; and six great-grandchildren: Alex, Linzie and Reagan Hayes, and Chandler, Jaron and Jax Bourgeois.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
