South Side Lower Elementary conducted a fire drill with the help of Picayune firefighters. Principal Juan Lee said the drill was a success with students, teachers and staff evacuating the building in about one minute and 47 seconds. During the drill, the school discovered the presence of a faulty fire alarm, which is expected be fixed soon.
