The Mississippi Public Service Commission has fined two telemarketers a total of $20,000 for allegedly violating the state’s no-call list.

Commissioner Brandon Presley says Auticall of Ladera Ranch, Calif., and DNCE LLC of Irving, Texas, failed to provide the PSC with a listing of all the telephone numbers each company uses to make telemarketing calls in Mississippi.

Presley says company representatives also failed to sign sworn statements that they would not alter or block their number when making calls in the state.

Both companies were registered with the PSC and had provided the commission with a $50,000 surety bond. Presley says the fines will be deducted from the surety bonds.
