The federal government says it plans to begin auctioning dozens of surplus FEMA trailers this week.

Bids on the 117 travel trailers can be placed on the General Services Administration’s Web site beginning Thursday at 5 p.m. and ending June 25.

The Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration is making the trailers available for inspection at the Mississippi Office of Surplus Property in Pearl. However, all bids must be placed online.
