Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 24, 2009, at 2 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for James B. Braswell, Jr., 21, of Carriere, who passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009, in Brookhaven, Miss.

Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral HOme.

A native of Metairie, La., he was a bricklayer.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Vernon Gaspard.

Survivors include: his mother and stepfather, Bryan and Vicky Keeley of Carriere; his father, James B. Braswell, Sr.; his grandmother, Barbara Gaspard of Carriere; his brother, Chase Braswell of Carriere; his sister, Ashley Braswell of Picayune; his niece, Skyler Owens of Carriere; and his nephew, Lathun Braswell of Carriere.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 23, 2009, from 6-10 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
