Body found in FEMA trailer

Stone County officials and the state fire marshal are investigating the death of a man whose body was found Monday in a smoke-filled FEMA trailer.

County Coroner Michael J. Lott says an autopsy has been ordered on the victim, identified as 45-year-old Garard Duncan.

Chief Deputy Phyllis Olds says FEMA representatives went to the property and noticed smoke coming out of the trailer. The area is on the west side of the county.
