Cadenz James Hester

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. at First United Pentecostal Church – Sanctuary of Praise, 444 North Main Street, Poplarville for Cadenz James Hester, aged 2 years, 9 months, and six days, of Poplarville who passed away Sunday, February 8, 2009 at his residence after a long battle with Jeune’s Syndrome. Brother Ed King will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Poplarville.

He was born May 2, 2006 in Hattiesburg, Miss., to Rocky Hester, and Harmony Hester. Cadenz loved music; Little Einstein’s Cartoons and was always a happy baby. He will be forever missed.

Survivors include: his parents, Harmony and Rocky Hester; brother, Skyler Hester; and sister, Sydney Hester, all of Poplarville; maternal grandparents, Melody and Russell Glover, Jr. of Poplarville; paternal grandparents, Sandra and Clayton Hester, II of Lumberton, Miss.; great-grandparents, Rae and Russell Glover, Sr., of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mary June Hunt of Poplarville; two aunts, Amanda Cartwright and her husband Joey of Poplarville and Tammy Jones and her husband Billy of Lumberton; and five cousins: Cassidy Cartwright, Jaxon Cartwright, Victoria Jones, Billy Jones, and Lori Jones.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at White Funeral Home in Poplarville.

Memorials may be directed to the Cadenz Hester Memorial Fund, care of First National Bank of Poplarville.
