Ronald Earl Penley

On December 3, 2008, Ronald Earl Penley passed away after a brief lung illness at North Shore Hospital in Slidell, La. He had lived in Picayune for 25 years.

He was born in Pensacola, Fla. on January 3, 1953 to Emmett Edward Penley and Ruth Voncile Penley Lowe. He was a graduate of Milton High School in Milton, Fla. He was a Lutheran and a beloved husband and father. He was employed with Lockheed Martin and had worked 20 years for Creative Controllers, Inc. He was a proud Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America. He was an organ donor and was cremated on December 4, 2008. No visitation was held, the family had a private service.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; and his brother, Kenneth Edward Penley.

His survivors include: his wife of 36 years, Debra F. Penley; two sons, Ronald Emmett Penley and his wife Adrienne L. Penley, and Benjamin F. Penley and his wife Elizabeth L. Penley; two grandchildren: Connor Penley and Christian; honorary son, Jacob Louis Hunter and his wife Gina Hunter and their children: Jaxon and Cruz Hunter; one brother, William Eric Penley; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
