The Pearl River County Utility Authority will close East Canal Street in Picayune from South Loftin Avenue to the intersection of Mississippi 43 South.

The closure will take place Wednesday, or no later than Thursday. The East Canal Street road closure is required for sewer line and manhole maintenance and is anticipated to take a few days.

“Road Closed. Local Traffic Only” signs will be in place at key areas of the road throughout the maintenance period. The Pearl River County Utility Authority appreciates the public’s cooperation.
