Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 13, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Sheryl Diann Davenport, 54, of Picayune, who passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008 in Picayune.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune.

A native of Los Angeles, Calif., she was a Certified Public Accountant and she held a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences.

She was preceded in death by: her father, Nixon Ellis; her mother, Patricia Cook Ellis Miller; her daughter, Tracy Blount; and one brother, Randall Ellis.

Survivors include: her husband, William Davenport of Picayune; one son, Greg Blount of Burleson, Texas; one daughter, Ralonda Patterson of Decatur, Texas; two brothers, Tommy Wayne Miller of Avondale, La., and Ernie Ellis of Fremont, Neb.; one sister, Barbara Lance of Point of Rocks, Wyo.; and 13 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Sunday, July 13, 2008 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
