Members of a Brandon-based National Guard unit are expected home from Iraq this week.

Officials said an advance party of 40 soldiers from 113th Military Police Company were to begin arrive at Camp Shelby in Hattiesburg for demobilization on Thursday.

Lt. Col. Doril Sanders, a base spokesman, said the remainder of the 150 troops are expected to arrive Friday.

The soldiers trained for several weeks at Camp Shelby in June of last year before shipping out.
