Terrell Bass of the Bunkerhill community has been charged with the weekend shotgun shooting deaths of two people and the wounding of a third.

Marion County sheriff’s Investigator Scott McKinney identified the dead in the Saturday night attack as Tonya Stogner, 38, of Foxworth and Ronald Plumer, 30, of Collins.

McKinney said Herschel Stogner, 42, of Foxworth, was wounded in the “domestically related” shooting and taken to Forrest General Hospital. McKinney said Stogner was released on Monday.

McKinney said Bass, 56, was arrested about an hour after authorities arrived on the scene Saturday on Mississippi Highway 35 in Foxworth. On Monday, Bass was ordered held without bond on two counts of murder and one count of aggravated assault.

Sheriff’s deputies found the shooting victims when they responded to a call of shots being fired. Authorities said all three victims had been shot with a 20-gauge shotgun.
