Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Edward Lavelle Egan, 72, of Carriere who passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2008 in Carriere.

Arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune.

The Rev. Dale Clabaugh will officiate at the service.

A native of New Orleans, La., he was a sheetmetal foreman and a member of the Baptist Faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Egan and Ruth East Egan.

Survivors include: his wife, Patricia Egan of Carriere; his children, Linda Biven of Bay St. Louis; Brenda Myers of Lake Charles, La.; Sheryl Zengarling of Hancock County, Miss.; Sheila Woods of Pearl River, La.; Edward L. Egan, Jr. of Magnolia, Miss.; and Dwayne Egan of Kenner, La.; his step children, Pamela Bourquard of Carriere; Gwendolyn Rhobucker of Chalmette, La.; Albert Bourquard, Jr. of Carriere; Curtis Bourquard of Chalmette; and Keith Bourquard of Gretna, La.; his brothers and sisters, Michael M. Alvarez of Chalmette; Sonny Graves of Hancock County; and Rosemary Cade of Metairie, La.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 2008 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that they be remembered in the thoughts and prayers of their family and friends.
