I’m Timothy L. “Tim” Prince a Democratic candidate for Supervisor District 5 and I’m kindly asking for your vote in the November general election.

I was born and raised in Picayune and Pearl River County. I am a resident of Hide-A -Way Lake and have been for the past four years. I’m married to Donna (Strickland) Prince for the past 17 years. I’m a member of the Carriere Masonic Lodge. My parents are the Rev. Jewel L. Prince and Ceicle G. Spiers-Prince-Palmer. I own my own business, Tim Prince Trucking LLC.

I don’t believe in the raising of our taxes. I believe in our own dumpsite and not someone else’s from the outside. I believe in our Sheriff’s Department, ambulance services, our fire department, our volunteer firefighters and the workers of our county who need our funding to carry out their duties safely and to support their families.

I don’t believe in the extra spending of funds without the vote of the good people of Pearl River County.

I don’t believe in the post Katrina permit fees that have been assessed to the people of Pearl River County.

Katrina was devastating to our county but the people stepped up and cleaned up our county and have since gone on with their lives, and therefore the people of our county doesn’t need all the extra burdens that have been applied to them.

I’m a down to earth country boy and once again I’m kindly asking for your vote come November.
