A four wheeler accident severely injured a 15 year-old boy Monday afternoon.

The accident occurred at 109 Pete Harris Road Monday afternoon when Kyle Hickman, 15, hit a dip in the ground and lost control of the four wheeler he was riding, said Major Aaron Russell of the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department.

First responders were called in at about 12:47 p.m. that day and transported him to Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Russell said Hickman was described to be on life support yesterday. Further information on Hickman’s condition was not available at press time.
