Ted Robinson

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 2 p.m. at New Hebron Baptist Church in Carriere for Mr. Ted Robinson, 63, of Carriere, who passed away August 14, 2007 in Carriere.

The Rev. A.D. Jackson will officiate at the service, assisted by the Rev. R. DeFlanders. Burial will be in the Carriere Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.

A native of Carriere, he was a member of New Hebron Baptist Church. Mr. Robinson was the team leader for the Taxi Service at Stennis Space Center for 42 years and a long-standing member of the NASA SSC family. He worked for Abacus Technology Corp. and retired earlier this year. He served as a Deacon, and held the position of Finance Officer.

Survivors include: his loving wife, Mrs. Charlene Robinson of Carriere; three daughters, Mrs. Deborah Burkett, Mrs. Ruby Stubbs of Picayune, and Mrs. Temika Bolar of Carriere; two sons, Mr. Dewayne Robinson and Mr. Deray Robinson, both of Carriere; his mother, Mrs. Carrie Robinson of Carriere; five sisters, Mrs. Carrie Spencer of Carriere, Mrs. Easter Milton, Mrs. Alice Gulliary, Mrs. Janie Kemp, Mrs. Melinda Norwood, all of Carriere; three brothers, Mr. Alonzo Robinson, Mr. Fred Robinson, and Mr. Ben Robinson, all of Carriere; 10 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 12 noon-2 p.m. in New Hebron Baptist Church.
