Funeral services for Ora Faye Raby, 60, were held Saturday, August 4, 2007 at Brown-Holley Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Grove. Interment followed in Kilbourne Cemetery in Kilbourne.

Faye Raby was born on September 25, 1946 in Coden, Ala. and passed away from this life on August 1, 2007 in Hattiesburg, surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Louwana Sapp; her parents, J.B. and Cleo Shepherd; brother, Eugene Shepherd, sister, Sharon Shepherd, and sister, Deloris Fricky.

Survivors include: her husband, Billy Raby of Carriere; five children, James Sapp Sr. and wife, Judy, of Carriere, Kathy Baril and husband, John of Carriere, Thomas Sapp and wife, Anita, of Carriere, Ricky Raby and wife, Macy, of Russellville, Ark., and Tony Raby of Mtn. View, Ark.; 10 grandchildren, Kasey House and husband, Matt; Johnny Lirette and wife, Inga, Tesha Sapp, James Sapp, Jr., Elmer Peoples, Jr., Allen Peoples, Joseph Peoples, Ariann Sapp, Matthew Raby, and McKinley Raby; three great-grandchildren, Lexie House, Natalie Peoples, and Jasmine Peoples, six sisters, Vivian Drawdy and husband, Tom, Bobby Sullivan and husband, James, Betty Hearing and husband, Larry, Rita Fricky and husband, Harry, Pat Cloudiavich and husband, Anthony, and Brenda Artique and husband, Dale; three Brothers, J.B. Shepherd, Jr. and wife, Tammy, Wayne Shepherd, and Darrel Shepherd and wife, Lisa; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Lirette, Allen Peoples, Joseph Peoples, John Taylor, Otis Saucier, Calvin Webber, Johnny Drowdy and Jeffery Drowdy.
