The Jr. Pride of the Tide Dance Team has been very budy this summer preparing for the upcoming school year. July 5-8 the officers, Amanda Batey, Kelsi Bennett, and Jordan Taylor attended a Universal Dance Association Camp at USM. There they received first place for their home routine, an overall superior rating, a daily spirit stick, and Kelsi and Jordan were selected as UDA All-Stars. A private dance camp, provided by American Drill Team School was held at PMHS July 9-12. The team learned a variety of jazz,, pom, hip hop, and kick routines.

Amanda Batey, Kelsi Bennett, Hannah Falls, Lauren Lander, Alex Sanford, and Jordan Taylor were selected to represent our team as the Kick Company, and Jordan Taylor was named Miss High Kick.

Amanda Batey, Kelsi Bennett, Mallory Cumberland, Hannah Falls, Taylor Galmiche, Alex Sanford, and Jordan Taylor were chosen as Jr. All-American Dancers. Jordan Taylor received the Gussie Nell Davis Award of Excellence, Megan Millis received the Spirit of ADTS Award, Bridgett Patterson received the ADTS Pizzazz Award, and Amanda Batey received the outstanding Performer Award.
