Grace B. Dorman Rapp

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 4, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the New Palestine Cemetery for Grace B, Dorman Rapp, 85, of Carriere, who passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2007 in Carriere.

Burial will be in the New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune.

The Rev. R.T. Buckley will officiate at the service.

A native of Picayune she was a homemaker and a member of the New Palestine Baptist Church. Mrs. Rapp was also a member of The Eastern Star, Alaska. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she enjoyed flower arranging and was an avid dog person.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Claude and Paul Balaski; four sisters, Bernice Henley, Edna Pearl Lloyd, Annie Mae Morrison and Beulah Cameron.

Survivors include: her husband, Don Rapp of Carriere; one son, Thomas G. Dorman of Delcambre, La.; five grandchildren, Tommy Schremp, Crissy Schremp, Heath Lee Dorman, Keith Rhen Dorman, Mindy Michelle Dorman Marks and eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances Robinson of Dimondhead, Miss.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 3, 2007 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to The American Diabetes Assoc. P.O. Box 11454 Alexandria, Va. 22312 and/or The New Palestine Musical Chimes Fund 2336 Palestine Rd., Picayune, Miss. 39466.
