Norman Joseph Westbrook

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at 2 p.m. in the Salem Landmark Missionary Baptist Church for Norman Joseph Westbrook, 87, of Picayune, Miss., who passed away Monday, July 2, 2007 in Gulfport, Miss.

Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune.

The Rev. Elder Gary Sumrall will officiate at the service, and will be assisted by Elder Dwayne Long.

A native of Picayune, he was a Plumber and a member and deacon of Salem Landmark Missionary Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include: his wife of 66 years, Voncile Westbrook of Picayune; his sons, Waymon Westbrook and Dr. James Westbrook and his wife Lorraine all of Picayune; his grandchildren, Tina Anderson and her husband Johnny, Gina Smith, Shawn Westbrook, Michael Westbrook and his wife Brooke, Ashley Westbrook, Shannon Westbrook, Waymon Westbrook, Jr. all of Picayune; his great grandchildren; Joshua Smith, Jacob Smith, Alexander Anderson, Nalita Anderson, Gracelyn Westbrook all of Picayune.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
