Carolyn Hart Billips

Funeral services was held Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 2 p.m. in East Jerusalem Baptist Church for Carolyn Hart Billips, 48, of Picayune who passed away June 29, 2007 in Nicholson, Miss.

The Rev. Vermon Robinson will officiate at the service.

A native of Picayune, she was a certified nurse assistant and a member of First Cornerstone Baptist in Nicholson.

Survivors include: one daughter, Shienka D. Billips of Connecticut; one son, Jonthan Billips of Picayune; her mother, Lessie Mae Marshall of Chicago, Ill.; two brothers, Dwight Lewis and David Lewis of Chicago; seven sisters, Rosiland Solomon of Picayune, Patricia Scay and Brenda Burnett of Chicago, Marie Burnett of Henelyfield, Miss., Bessie Harrel of Birmingham, Ala., Annie Shears of Dayton, Ohio and Pearl Tatum of Hattiesburg, Miss.

There will be no visitation.
