Betty Ann Giordano

Betty Ann Giordano, daughter of the late Leon Matthew and Rita (Fritsch) Hartmann was born June 5, 1942 in New Orleans, La. and departed this life at her residence in Ellisinore, Missouri on July 3, 2007.

She had attained the age of sixty-five years and twenty-eight days.

Mrs. Giordano had resided in Ellisinore the past few months, but was a native of New Orleans. She was also formerly of Slidell, La. and Carriere, MS. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Saint George Parish in Van Buren, Mo. Betty enjoyed flowers, crafting, knitting, playing cards and reading.

On July 3, 1960 she was united in marriage to Wally H. Giordano in Chalmette, La.

She is survived by her husband, Wally Giordano of Ellsinore; three sons, Dino Giordano and his wife, Cynthia of Covington, La., Rickey Giordano and his wife Jennifer of Strafford, MO. and Jerry Giordano and his wife, Pearl of Mililani, HI; one daughter, Angelle Trochesset and her husband Brian of Biloxi, MS.; one brother, Leon M. Hartmann, Jr. and his wife, Bobby Fricke of Slidell.; three sisters, Nancy Archer and her husband, David B. of Carriere, Susan Barger and her husband, James of Slidell and Carol Alquist and her husband, Nelson of Canton, Ga.; six grandchildren, Destinie Keeney of silver Hill, Ala., Tabitha Giordano and Samantha Giordano both of Mililani, Luca Giordano and Joseph Giordano both of Stanfford and Gianni Trochesset of Canton; two great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends who mourn her passing.

A memorial will be held on Monday, July 9, 2007 at 10 a.m. in the Saint George Parish in Van Buren, Mo.
