The Boot Drive to help raise funds for the American Red Cross HEROES program is Friday.

The boot drive will take place Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 11 and Canal Street. There, firefighters will be out with boots collecting donations for the Red Cross.

This effort is in conjunction with other community efforts as part of the American Red Cross HEROES program to raise money to help the organization provide assistance to families in times of need and to keep a Red Cross representative in Picayune.
