I’m W.D. “Rusty” Stockstill and I take this opportunity to announce I am a candidate for supervisor in District IV. I am a life-long resident of Pearl River County. I was married to the former Letha Madden (deceased), daughter of the Rev. Willy and Minnie Madden for 35 years. I am now married to the former Carol Voiles Keller for 13 years. We have six children, and 13 grandchildren.

I am self-employed with my own business, an active member of West Lawn Baptist Church on Jackson Landing Road in Picayune. I was an employee of the aerospace industry for 15 years with the Boeing Co., and Martin Marietta Co. I owned and managed Rusty’s Food Mart in Picayune, for six years. I am experienced in budgets, payroll and money management, having been a construction superintendent for seven years with 300 employees. I am also experienced in public relations having managed and been employed in radio.

With the influx of population and businesses in Pearl River County, I think we need full time supervisors in office and not part time. I will be a full time supervisor, this office, to me, is of extreme importance since these five officials control a vast amount of our taxes.
