Mark March 29 for the Army Field Band and Soldier’s Chorus

The 100 member United States Army Field Band and 29 member Soldiers’ Chorus will appear in concert at the Picayune School Auditorium, 706 Goodyear Blvd., on Thursday, March 29, at 7 p.m. Tickets are free and are available at the Picayune Chamber of Commerce or WRJW Radio in Picayune. The United States Army Field Band has been thrilling audiences of all ages for more than six decades, and this internationally-acclaimed organization is coming to Picayune on March 29. Considered by music critics to be one of the most versatile and inspiring musical organizations in the world, the Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus has a repertoire designed to appeal to all audiences. The Field Band was the first military band to present a formal concert in New York’s Carnegie Hall and the Concert Band and Soldiers’ Chorus regularly perform joint concerts with major orchestras. They are frequently featured in nationally televised broadcasts on Memorial Day and the Fourth of July.
