Lloyd J. Dunaway, Sr.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the First Southern Baptist Church in Pearlington, Miss. for Lloyd J. Dunaway, Sr., 73, of Pearlington who died March 24, 2007 in Slidell, La.

Burial will be in the Logtown Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune.

The Rev. John Gibson will officiate at the service.

A native of Columbia, Miss., he lived in Pearlington for 43 years and was a member of the Carpenter’s Local #1846.

Survivors include: his wife, Gloria Dunaway of Pearlington; one daughter, Virginia Amacker of Ocean Springs; one son, Lloyd J. Dunaway, Jr. (L.J.); three grandchildren, Danielle Pearson, Wally Amacker, Chelsea Amacker; two great-grandchildren, Daniel Nunez, Makayla Pearson; one sister, Alice Faye Mullins of Foxworth, Miss.; numerous nieces and nephews; and very dear friend, Sundown.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, beginning at 6 p.m. in the First Southern Baptist Church in Pearlington.
