Hollis D. Ladner

Hollis D. Ladner, age 79, of Necaise Crossing, MS died Friday, March 2, 2007 in Necaise Crossing MS.

The funeral service will be Monday, March 5th at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Kiln with Rev. Father Noel Fannon officiating. Burial will be in the Necaise Crossing Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday, March 4th 6-10 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.

Hollis was born in Standard, MS and was a Heavy Equipment Operator. He was a member of the St. Matthew Catholic Church and he retired from U.S. Naval Scabee Base and the Hancock County Sheriffs Department. He was a member of Post 58 American Legion, VFW, and Honorable Deputy of Hancock County Sheriff’s Department. Mr. Ladner was a WWII Veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Joe Ann Necaise Ladner of Kiln; four sons, James “Jim” Necaise of Bay St. Louis; Tony Necaise, H.J. Ladner, and Shelby Ladner all of Kiln; three daughters, Audrey Ladner Heidelberg of Kiln, Hana Ladner Bilbo of Picayune, Charlotte Ladner Barron of Metairie, La.; one step daughter, Paulette Necaise and one step son Leslie Kerwin Necaise; (21) Grandchildren and (25) Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Estelle Dedeaux Ladner; Sister Adras Ladner; Two brothers Dollis Ladner and R.D. Ladner.

McDonald Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
