Pascagoula police have arrested a 20-year-old woman on three counts of felony child neglect related to the abandonment of three small children on Feb. 3.

Nicole Nicolette Harvey of Pascagoula, was arrested Thursday, said police Lt. Paul Leonard.

Leonard declined to elaborate on Harvey’s involvement in the case, saying that more details would be released later.

Coco Chanel Fountain, 21, was arrested Feb. 9 for leaving her sons — 7 months, 14 months and 2 years old — in what police described as unsanitary conditions. She is charged with three counts of felony child neglect.

Fountain is currently out on a $300,000 bond set earlier this week. No bond had been set for Harvey, Leonard said. Leonard said the two women are friends.

Warrants were issued for Fountain’s arrest after officers, investigating a call that the children were left unattended inside Fountain’s residence, found the three boys.

The children remain in the care of the Mississippi Department of Human Services.
