Margaret Ann Meyer Harbour

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. — John 3:16

Margaret Ann Meyer Harbour went in glory to be home with our dear Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 12, 2007. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Dennis Harbour, after twenty-seven wonderful years of marriage.

After a long and courageous battle, she joins her daughter, Misti Harbour; her parents, Jane Ulm Meyer and Arthur “Bobby” Meyer, Sr.; and also her grandparents, Emma “Matilda” Meyer, Otto Thomas Meyer, Sr., George Ulm and Marjorie Stiles Glaser.

She is survived by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary and Harold Harbour, and brother-in-law, Johnnie Harbour. She is also survived by her siblings, Arthur P. Meyer and his wife, Linda, David Meyer, Sr., and Kathleen Meyer Bradley and her husband, Norman “Jimmy” Bradley.

She is also survived by her God-children, Jennifer and Joel Stevenson, Brook Delaney Meyer, George Smith, and Michelle Harris; her nieces and nephews, Arthur Meyer III and his wife, Kellie, Shelley Meyer King and her husband, Matthew, Amy Smith, Tracy Smith, David Meyer, Jr., Jeffrey Moore, and numerous other loved ones.

She had been a faithful servant and church member at World Outreach Revival Center for the past couple of years. She will be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service will be held in her honor on Sunday, February 18, 2007 at 3 p.m. at World Outreach Revival Center, 900 Cayten Street in Picayune.

Margaret “Nanny” loved everyone she met. She loved Jesus and couldn’t wait to meet Him. She had a strong faith and did not miss an opportunity to minister to others. She wrote these closing words in the front of her Bible, “I thank God for every remembrance of you.”
