Ernie Munch Tassin, age 84, passed away Monday, February 26, 2007 in Biloxi. She was a native of New Orleans and moved here from California. She was a homemaker and a member f St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday, March 1, 2007 with a rosary at 10:45 a.m. and a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Picayune, MS. Rev. Michael Snyder will be officiating. There will be no visitation.

She is survived by a son, Allan C. Tassin; daughter-in-law, Marion C. Tassin; two brothers, Carl J. Munch and Orrin “Buddy” Munch; tow sisters, Elaine Roberts and Joy M. Koen; four grandchildren, Kelby Vance-Tassin, Jennifer Allen, Olivia Childs and Paul Tassin; Five great grandchildren, Hunter, Cody, Slayton, Alyssa and Danika; and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Hilda Combel McCormick, father, John Munch, one brother, Clyde Munch, one son, Byron P. Tassin, Jr. and her husband, Byron P. Tassin, Sr.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Society.
