Ella Rose Kitchens, age 76, died on Saturday, February 3 in Picayune.

The funeral services were held 2 p.m. on Monday, February 5 at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel, W. Canal in Picayune. The family welcomed friends from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. on Sunday, February 3 at McDonald Funeral Home. Burial was at the McNeill Cemetery the service will be officiated by the Rev. Elder Edward Pullens and assisted by Elder Frank Spiers.

Ella was born in Picayune, she was a homemaker and also a member of the Ozona Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Survivors include: her husband, Henry Kitchens of Picayune; six daughters, Lanette Hill of Bay St. Louis; Dorothy Lee, Eunice Creel, and Martha Mooney, all of Picayune; Mary Hartfield of Petal and Darlene Saja of Hillsdale; five sons, Garland and Larry Kitchens, both of Hattiesburg, Jimmy Kitchens of Hillsdale, Steve Kitchens of Picayune, and Terry Kitchens of Kentucky; 22 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren; three brothers, Ralph Sones of Mobile, Ala., John Sones of Picayune, and Ray Sones of Glendale, Calif.; three sisters, Joyce Seal of Picayune, Jewell Merritt of Lucedale, and Virginia Meriel Morris of Picayune.
