Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 11:30 a.m. in the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church for Dolores Diaz Favre, age 66, of Picayune who died Friday, February 16, 2007 in St. Tammany Parish, LA.

Burial will be in the St. Rock #2 Cemetery in New Orleans, LA under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home, Picayune.

The Rev. Father Michael Snyder will officiate at the service.

A native of New Orleans, she was retired and a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. She was a member of the Picayune Police Department Senior Patrol, Ladies Auxiliary and St. Joseph Altar Society.

She was preceded in death by her brother: Lorenzo Diaz.

Survivors include: her husband, Earl J. Favre of Picayune; her children, Nancy Tierney of Gretna, LA; James Favre of Leesville, LA, Terrie Moran of Picayune and Sandra Knowles of Florida; her brothers and sisters, Marie Reynolds of Gretna, Michael Diaz of Slidell, LA and Ralph Diaz of Slidell; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a host of in-laws, nieces and nephews and numerous devoted friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2007 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home.
