Services are at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel for Edna Mitchell Brunson, 88, of New Orleans, formerly of Picayune, who died Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, in New Orleans.

The Rev. Richard Randels officiates at the service. Burial is in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Picayune, she was a homemaker and a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Miriam Allen of Atlanta, Ga.; two sons, Billy Brunson of New Orleans and Jimmy Brunson of Metairie, La.; a sister, Annie Lou Jones of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 8-10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, at the funeral home.
