Services were at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel for Samuel Timothy Spiers, Jr., 44, of PIcayune, who died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006.

Bro. Danny Johnson officiated at the service. Burial was in Holliman Cemetery under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

He was a native of New Orleans.

Survivors include his mother, Sylvia Spiers of Picayune; a son, Samuel Spiers III of Belle Chase, La., and a grandson.

Visitation 12 noon-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
