The suspect in the murder of his wife on Wednesday turned himself in to the Pearl Police Department the next day.

Pearl River County Sheriff’s Chief Deputy Julie Flowers said that a man who claimed to be Pablo Santiago Oliva, 34, last known address 5548 Pebble Beach Dr., Hanover Park Ill, turned himself in to the police at about 1 p.m. Thursday.

The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Department sent two investigators to Pearl, which is across the Pearl River from Jackson, to verify the identity of the man who turned himself in. If there is a match, the suspect will be sent back to this county on the charge of murder, Flowers said.
