Services were at noon Saturday, Oct. 21, at Collinsville United Methodist Church for Leroy Victor Secrest Sr., 82, of Gulfport, who died Thursday Oct. 19, 2006.

The Rev. Shawn Keating officiates at the service. Burial will be in Collinsville United Methodist Church Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Meridian, he was a Presbyterian Minister, chaplin with the VA hospital in Gulfport and a member of Presbytery of Western North Carolina.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Secrest of Gulfport; two sons Leroy Secrest Jr. of D’Iberville and Marvin and his wife Donna Secrest of Black Mountain NC; two sisters Jean Treadaway and Mary Secrest both of York, Ala. and one brother, Rae Secrest of Columbus, Ohio.

Visitation was 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 21, in the Collinsville United Methodist Church in Collinsville.
