The injuries occurred at about 7:15 a.m. at the bus stop at Bonita and Castille drives following a fight been two male teenagers in the same area, Sexton said. Apparently Pruitt, who is related to one of the teens involved in the altercation, drove a 1990 Honda Accord into the youths, then left the scene, he said.

Sexton said Pruitt was arrested less than an hour later at her home on Castille Drive. She was ordered held on $100,000 bond at the Harrison County jail.
