Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday Oct. 29 in the Picayune Funeral Home Chapel for George S. Thomas, 68, who died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006.

The Rev. Bro. Danny Johnson officiates at the service.

A native of Bogalusa, La., he was a U.S. Navy veteran, member of the VFW and did paint and auto body work and was Pentecostal.

Survivors include his wife, Geneva Thomas of Picayune; three sons, Randy Thomas, Phillip Thomas and Gregory Thomas all of Picayune; two daughters, Georganna Mizell of Bogalusa and Mary Savoye of Slidell; four sisters, Margie Dowdy, Maudie Ozrone, Linda Talbot, Hazel Doucet; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Geneva Thomas and sent to Mary Thomas Savoye, 3288 Reine Ave., Slidell, LA 70458.
