Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 1st Baptist Church Estes Chapel for Gaynell M. Chappell, 89, of Picayune who died Sunday, Oct. 1, 2006, in Wiggins.

The Rev. Dr. Keith Warden officiates at the service assisted by the Rev. Dr. Stanley Watson. Burial is in New Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

A native of Noxapater, she was a teacher and a member of 1st Baptist Church of Picayune.

Survivors include a son, Frank Chappell of Tennessee; a daughter, Donna Brenneis of Picayune; two sisters, Doris Hamilton and Ann Willis, both of Noxapater; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, at the church.
