Covenant Health and Rehab of Picayune hosted a fall festival to give their residents a taste of fun, games and the fresh air outside.

The event took place Friday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the home health staff were assisted by Picayune and Pearl River Central High School Allied Health students who helped throughout the festival.

Residents, students and community members enjoyed games, a cake walk and karaoke. Also on display was beautiful art from the Art League of Picayune.

Everyone had a wonderful time and covenant appreciates community involvement.

“It is so nice especially for the students to be so enthusiastic about volunteering and getting involved with the community,” said Public Relations for Covenant Health and Rehab Carrie Smith in a press release.

Covenant Health and Rehab appreciates all the help the students gave.

“It is so important that we give back to our seniors because they have already given us so much,” Smith said. “We encourage anyone to please come by and visit our newly renovated facility, your heart will be touched by our residents.”
