The Picayune Maroon Tide moved up a spot from 10th to ninth in the statewide prep football poll as conducted by The Clarion-Ledger of Jackson this week.

Picayune is coming off a 45-18 whipping of Harrison Central last week, and stands at 2-0 on the season. The Maroon Tide travels to Gulfport on Friday.
