Services are at 12 noon Thursday, Aug. 31, at Picayune Funeral Home for Shannon Marie McGuire, 24, of Picayune, who died Friday, Aug. 25, 2006.

Bro. Danny Johnson officiates at the service. Burial is in Memorial Gardens under the direction of Picayune Funeral Home.

A native of New Orleans, La., she was formerly of St. Bernard Parish, La., and a waitress.

Survivors include her father, Dexter Strange of Picayune; her mother, Marie Strange of Picayune; a daughter, Trena Strange of Picayune; a brother, Chad Strange of St. Bernard Parish; three sisters, Ashley Strange of Picayune, Lacey Strange of Roanoke, Va., and Casey Strange of Chalmette, La., and her grandmother, Sally Guerra of Picayune.

She was preceded in death by an infant son.

Visitation is 10 a.m.-12 noon, Thursday, Aug. 31, at the funeral home.
