Services were at 11 a.m. Friday, July 7, Vincent Funeral Home in Gueydan, La., for Otto LeMaire, 94, of Poplarville, who died Tuesday, July 4, 2006.

Arrangements were under the direction of Poole-Ritchie and Vincent’s funeral homes.

A native of Gueydan, he was retired from Pure Oil Company and was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Bogalusa, La.

Survivors include his wife, Velma Petry LeMaire of Gueydan, a brother, Ewell LeMaire; three sisters, Rosa Belle LeMaire, Hazel Williams and Ella Mae Elder; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his son, Dr. Wayne T. LeMaire.

Visitation was 3-9 p.m. Thursday, July 6, and 8-11 a.m. Friday, July 7, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial masses.
