Services are at 1 p.m. Friday, July 7, at Pilgrim Bound Baptist Church for Ellon “Aunt Iya” Brasheare, 76, of Picayune, who died Wednesday, July 28, 2006.

The Rev. Tommie Haralson officiates at the service, assisted by the Rev. Delbert Hall. Burial is in Picayune Cemetery under the direction of Baylous Funeral Home.

A native of Tylertown, she was a homemaker and a member of East Sunny Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Tylertown.

Survivors include a daughter, Alma Ferguson of Picayune; a son, Jimmy Brasheare of Picayune; a brother, W.C. Bridges of Picayune; two sisters, Nellie McCaskill of Panama City, Fla., and Ellen Brister of Portland, Ore., and a grandson.

Visitation is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, July 7, at the church.
