UPDATE - 2 men charged after police chase

AP

SEMINARY, Miss. Authorities say two men who allegedly crashed a stolen car into a law enforcement vehicle will face charges of aggravated assault on a police officer and possession of stolen property.

Authorities arrested 22-year-old Todd James Snow of Richland and 31-year-old Patrick Snow of Jackson on Tuesday. Each was charged with two counts of aggravated assault on a police officer and one count of possession of stolen property.

The arrests came after the men allegedly accelerated through a driver’s license checkpoint on Mississippi Highway 509 near Seminary. Authorities say the car later struck a Mississippi Bureau of Investigation agent’s vehicle.

Bond for Todd James Snow was set at $150,100. Patrick Snow will remain in jail because he was already out on bond.
