Family of 4 killed in south Mississippi wreck

— Magee police were investigating a wreck that killed four members of an Inverness family.
Police investigator Randy Crawford says the accident occurred on U.S. Highway 49 about 9 p.m. Tuesday when an 18-wheeler hit a van that was stopped at a traffic light.
All four people inside the van were pronounced dead at the scene. They were identified as 41-year-old Kimberly Smith, 37-year-old Edgar B. Smith IV, 15-year-old Edgar B. Smith V and 12-year-old Emily Smith.
Crawford says police were not releasing the name of the driver of the 18-wheeler, who was treated for minor injuries.
