Picayune is the only local team left alive as the prep football playoffs hit full stride this week. The Maroon Tide clinched second place in Region 4-5A with a win over visiting Stone County last week, and will host West Jones to open the Class 5A South State playoffs Friday. Kickoff time is set for 7 p.m.
